1. 2009 was my best year in college, academically. In both the spring and fall semesters I got 4 A's and 1 B. I won't ever be able to get anything better than that, seeings as I graduate in May and my last "class" is student teacher, which I believe is Pass/Fail. Even so, one B per semester is nothing to be ashamed of!
2. I'm really really excited to begin student teaching in a few weeks. I know its going to be really hard and stressful, but the bond I formed with some of my students just being there one day a week last semester was so amazing, that I'm really excited to meet my new students. (One of the little boys in my kindergarten class actually cried when I left last semester.)
3. I love the snow. Except when I have to do anything in it... like shovel it, or drive in it.
4. I set a goal for myself to get 200 followers on twitter by the end of 2009. I easily met my goal and made a lot of cool friends along the way. My next goal is 400 followers by my birthday. (In July) Its a long way away, but I think I can achieve it. Only 190 to go!
5. The worst part about moving to Korea in the fall will be leaving behind my niece/nephew, who will be two months old when I leave. However, sending her/him lots of gifts will be really awesome.
6. I really, really, really want a puppy. However, it's not going to happen until after Korea. I'm still undecided about what breed. Danny doesnt care as long as its small. He's not really a dog person. Ideally, we'd like a Shiba Inu, if we can find one. If not, my aunt breeds Miniature Australian Shepherds... :)
7. One of my goals for 2009 is to get into better shape. I'll be doing a LOT of walking in Korea, because we won't have a car, so I need to get ready for it. Also, my mom has lots tons of weight and looks incredible. Cant have my mom looking better than me! My sister is preggers so at least she has an excuse to have some extra weight. :)
